  21. Why?  It's ancient.  Try the current version, 3.14.  See the Kermit Web

  31. Say no more.  Get the current version and try it.  If it doesn't work,
  32. read the KERMIT.BWR file that came with, explaining all about the PC
  33. communications foibles.  Hint: your problem is mostly likely because
  34. the modem is set for RTS/CTS flow control and your "Model T" Kermit
  35. program came out before RTS/CTS was even invented as a full-duplex
  36. flow control method.  MS-DOS Kermit 3.14, of course, supports it.

  40. the details.
